Friday Coffee Talk

GOOOOOOD Friday Morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine!  The day has dawned and it's gonna be an awesome day at that!  The weekend is just about here.  Got big plans?  I KNOW I DO!!  BAMA ABSR IS TOMORROW!!  WHO'S coming?  Who's not?  If you miss it, we will surely miss YOU!

Our Challenge for today is a pretty easy one.  Let's have a "YOU" day today!  Make today all about you.  You work hard.  You follow your Dr.s orders.  You've lost inces this week.  You've lost weight this week.  Some of you got your surgical dates.  Some of you may have even had a set back in some way, but cha know what?  YOU STILL DESERVE A YOU DAY!  Do something just for you.  You need it.  All of life isn't about us, but it's ok to every now and then do something to treat you.  Just do it!  It'll be ok.  What am I gonna do for "me" today?  I'm taking my Lucy to "brunch?" after she sleeps in today.  Then the rest of the day is all about her and I.  FUN "ME" day!  LOL

So, what cha sipping this morning?  Me?  I'm enjoying some awesome Elvis coffee brought all the way from Graceland.  LOL  Yep, Lucy is "ALL SHOOK UP" and she is a huge Elvis fan.  She had to go see him before she could come to Bama.  LOL  Good coffee even if it is from the guy who's rated just under me in her eyes.  HAHAHAHA

Ya'll have an awesome Friday as you go out and DO SOMETHING JUST FOR YOU!!! P. S.  Minnesota folks....the date was awesome!  I'm sure she'll give you details later.  LOL  I enjoyed showering her and making sure there was a rose for her at each place we visited.  I had fun doing that.  She is a keeper!  LOVE YOU GUYS!

Randall, Thanks for this post, we get so wrapped up in doing for others all day everyday, we tend to lose ourselves..........Today I will do something for ME, maybe go to the tanning salon and catch some needed light........ Lucy was excited to go to Graceland........Glad the date went well. How nice that you had roses for her everywhere you went......She is a keeper......Have a wonderful weekend. Kelly

Somebody needs to  me.  I just about spewed yogurt on my keyboard when I read "I enjoyed showering her..."   Randall, you two have a FANTABULISTIC TIME!  I'm gonna pm you my cell #, and I'm HOPING (HOPE HOPE HOPE!!!) you two will have someone snap a picture of you together on a cell phone, and send it to me in the morning to share with our ginormous Maple Grove coffee crew!  Lucy's our girl, ya know - WE NEED TO SEE THE TWO OF YOU TOGETHER AT LAST!!! And Lucy may have an undying love for Elvis, but really - YOU'RE her HUNKA HUNKA!!!

Darla - I caught that "showering" comment too and "went there!"....you just had the nerve to post it!  I was glad to see it! 

         

I have to agee with Darla on the showering thing. So went there with her. I'm happy to hear you are spoiling our dear Lucy. Have fun and keep us updated.

Good Morning Randall.... I am taking today just for me. I am off work and just doing whatever it is I want to do for me. It sure feels great!! I am soooo glad all has gone well for you and our beautiful Lucy!! She truely is an amazing lady!! Hugs, connie d
