Pnuemonia AGAIN! Daughter Laurie at U of MN
I HATE CYSTIC FIBROSIS. Laurie went into hospital Wed afternoon, Nemi is with me. Laurie is on 6C right now, will be moved to 7B as soon as a bed opens up. No idea on how long they will keep her, I hope long enough to get the 2 antibiotics they are going to use together to get a real good start on kicking this back down.
I have to stop by Dunwoody to pick up her computer for class and that way she can try to keep up. Best thing is, she already has an IEP in place so they have to work with her when she is in hospital.
SHE made DEANS LIST her FIRST SEMESTER!!!!!!!! I am so very proud of her!!
Gotta get dressed, take Nemi to work with me for a bit then go across campus to spend time with her. Good thing I work at the U, Thanks Laura at Synico!!

I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers, hopefully they can get a good combination of meds to kick the pneumonia out quick and for a longer period of time. I think it is great that your daughter is doing so well in school...Dean's List her first semester is fantastic! I hope you have a good day and can find a little time for yourself during the day!

Hi Karen, I just finished posting an entry, then saw yours and just had to say my compassionate thoughts and many heartfelt prayers go upward for Laurie, and your family. How AWESOME Laurie made dean's list her first semester: yeay for her, and may she get a well-deserved break from the pneumonia for starters.
