"What happens in Vegas..."

Wowie!  Was such a treat boarding the plane from MN Friday afternoon's gray 36 degrees, and ustepping outside 4:30 p.m. in Vegas to very welcome sunny 74 degrees!   What an adventure it was!  David Spade's show was 'interesting', he slovenly approached the stage appearing disheveled, very casually dressed as if he'd just arisen from bed, although was comical!  Lori and I appreciated the amazement comfortably being able to walk, walk, walk, browse, shop, browse, having lost over 100 lbs. since our individual visits (mine two years ago, one month pre-surgery)!  Was bizarre splitting  meal entrees, even several 1/2 meals which were still way, way too much  for our little pouches! We were quite amused how much we'd been able to eat pre-surgery (as well as the difficulty getting around with previous moribid obesity!  Spent all Saturday morning/early afternoon  at the Venetian Canal Shoppes, with much walking, browsing, ooohing and aaaahing at the many diverse shoppes as well as splendid architectural awes,  as well as  my  ascertaining between the human and real statues  (the real ones don't sway nor the very occasional blink!) .  Spent a lively Saturday late night 'til four a.m. Sunday at the Voodoo lounge nightclub on the 51st floor and outside on the ROOFTOP of the Rio.  Was just afreakinmazing partying outside on the top of the building;  totally cool music, mostly 80s and 90s, and so fun meeting people from all over the world, with  the backdrop 180-degree views of both the near and distant Vegas lights, including the Strip.  I took over 300 pics during the weekend, although will mega-mega-downsize to a dozen or so and share in a post later today or tomorrow. Also need to decide between a dozen new avatar possibilities...today's the first since Monday I actually have energy!   Lori P will post her update soon as she's able!  Thank you again Lori  for sharing the shortest, yet one of the most fun Vegas adventures I've had in five visits! Happy day to all who can now easily smile with this spring sunshine!   Hugs galore, Patti

I have been waiting to hear from one of you!  Im glad you had fun!  Sounds like you had a blast.  My feet hurt so bad the weekend before when we went.  I even have a stress fracture in my left foot from it!  But it was worth it!  I wanna go again so bad!  I almost called you to see if I could tag along! LOL! 

I STILL LOVE YOU MISSY!! Hey, you, Brea, Lori and I HAVE to do Vegas together sometime!!  I got new coupons for two weeknight stays on the Strip, good through the end of July  all you need is round-trip airfare and spending money!  Man, the story of my life"  always ready to go anywhere, just nobody can go.....open invitation to anyone here! Thank you Michelle!  I'm envious you're going in July!  Love it there in the summer, especially walking through the cool mist sprays!  Going to a show?  If you get the chance, DO hit one of the nightclubs!  I've now been to PURE (outside above Caesar's Palace) and now Voodoo lounge outside above Rio.  So worth it!  Keep us updated and living vicariously through you dear!  Can't wait to meet you!  Hugs galore, Patti
