Wednesday Coffee Talk

Good Wednesday morning everyone.  1/2 the week is gone and it's all toward the weekend from here.  Are you as excited as I am?  WOO HOO! Our challenge today is to not be sorry.  What do I mean.  Don't live feeling sorry for yourself.  There are others that have things a lot worse than you do.  Someone who is facing something worse.  When you focus on you, your life's problems seem huge.   As Happy Girl said earlier this week in one of her replies, "TAKE YOUR EYES OFF OF YOUR SELF AND YOUR OWN FAMILY and DO FOR SOMEONE ELSE"  When you take your eyes off your own problems, you stop feeling sorry for you.  Your problems don't seem as big as they really are.  Stop sitting around pouting.  Get up and do something that will help you feel better.  Do something that will make your problem seem to decrease.  After all, life isn't all about you!  Boy, do I need to hear this today.  Thanks, Lord, for letting me step on my own toes. So, who's up this morning?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm enjoying some awesome Maxwell House regular blend with Cinnamon Caramel Coffee Creamer my Pastor and his wife gave to me.  Sure is good too.  They know how I enjoy my coffee!

Great post Randall!  That is so true and a way I try to live my life every day.  I firmly believe happiness is a choice and I choose to be happy.  I walk by  homeless people every day (I work in a chemical dependancy treatment program but other floors house homeless men and women) and it reminds me how much I have and not to take it for granted.  My motto (and signature in my work email) as a matter of fact is "You can complain that roses have thorns or be grateful that thorns have roses!"  I love that quote! Anyway, as for coffee, my hubby just brought me a delish cup of coffee freshly brewed in our gourmet kitchen. lol  Starbucks Breakfast Blend with a Splenda packet and a splash of Sugar Free Vanilla Caramel Creamer.  After I finish drinking it, I guess I'll finish getting ready and head to work for another day at the grind. Have a great day everyone!  (((Hugs)))) Michelle
