A good scale?

Anybody have any advice as to a good scale to  buy (to weigh myself)? I have a digital one but it seems to show my weight about 5lbs off. I am not sure if having a scale with BMI matters to me or not. I was thinking trying Bed Bath and Beyond or Target. Any thoughts?

Hmmm, I am not sure I think each scale is going to have its own little quirk and the key is to just be consistent in where, when and how you weigh yourself.  I have always weighed myself at the gym, but since I am going there less often (due to beign outside for exercise and then to the yoga studio for classes) I may need to look into buying one as well.  I am not sure how acurate the BMI portion would be on any scale.

Hi....... I bought a good Tanita scale from Bed, Bath and Beyond. It is very acurate and is always right on with the doctors scales. I bought one that figures body fat, BMI etc. but they have just weight scales from Tanita too. Hugs, connie d

I am curious as to how acurate a scale could be when calculating things like BMI and body fat?  Any idea how this works do you input info prior to getting on the scale?

Hi Nikki...yes you have to program some information into the scale. It is very easy to do and I feel it is very acurate.

Thanks!  I went on to the company's website and they have some really high-tech scales, who knew you could find out so much from a scale!  I am starting to look into buying one now as well since I am not going to the YWCA as often.

Nikki...hope you like it as much as I do.  Mine is model number.....BF-679W...it was about $50 to $60. I remember I had a 20% off coupon so it was $10 to $12 less. Hugs .....connie d
