Hey I've missed everyone

Hello one and all,

No I have not fallen off the face of the earth. Just been a little out of it. As many of you know I've had some relationship issues. Well they are still there. Just now I'm looking for a place to live. It's kind of tough with just one income, and some blemishes due to a previous relationship. So now I'm trying to find someplace in the north metro around fridley since thats where I work. Once I get moved, I am swearing off men for at least one year. (This is a major thing for me)(to the men out there, no offense intended.) I want to take a year or more and find out who I am. I've bent men, and their whims for soooo many years. Thats the reason I'm in the perdicerment I'm in. After all the changes in my life over the last 18 months from job, career, living arrangements and of course not to mention weight. It's time for me to find out who Diane is.

Diane, I think that it is a wonderful thing to take the time to get to know who you really are. I have been doing that for just over a year or so and I have learned so much, plus I have enhanced my relationship with my family a hundred fold. Good for you Diane.....take all the time you need. I have found out that being without a man for awhile is a good thing. Gives you time to really get to know yourself all over again. I made a rule that from now on I will not just settle for anyone...the person has to be what I want. I am not with anyone special right now. I know that being with someone to not be alone is not the answer. I am being picky right now and feeling better about myself because of it. I have learned that I really like my new freedom!! I have dated some but have finally learned to not just settle...if it doesn't feel right I am gone!! Good luck.....enjoy your life.......hugs, connie d
