I have PCOS and no matter what I did the weight wouldn't come off. I was the same way out of breath and heading towards diabetes. So for health reasons had the surgery and now there is no more huffing and puffing. I'm glad you talked to her about it. She will be too once she starts losing the weight.

YEAH KAYLA!!!! I am so excited for her! I hope that she sees how well you have done - other than the fact that she is scared to lose her few friends when she is in the b***hy phase...LOL. Tell her that if she wants/needs to talk to someone other than her mom about this, I am more than willing to talk to her about it too.

That is great news! I know my mom was relieved when I told her I was getting the surgery, she too worried about my health because of my family history (diabetes, heart disease, cancer). I hope that she finds the informational meeting helpful and motivational.
