Where the heck is Hanover? Ohhhhh....

My sister and her family came to the Cities for a visit this weekend.  They're staying in Watertown with my nephew and my sister wanted to go to Alberville to shop.  While weaving throughout the countrysie, we came upon Hanover!  I got all excited, waving and shouting "hey Darla!".  lol  My sister and niece thought I was nuts.  Anyway, there is a Lane Bryant Outlet at Alberville.  I can't tell ya'll how cool it was to be able to shop in a real store and buy "pretty" clothes - at REALLY reduced prices!  I got a couple of shirts for $1.99 and a couple of skirts for $7.  Gone are the days of online shopping only and sewing my own clothes because they don't sell my size in stores :)  And I'm only 3 sizes away from being the same size as my sister.  We haven't been the same size since I was like 10.   I just better start working my tool harder so I can finally be smaller than her!

Just wait until you are too small for Lane Bryant!  Then you'll see your shopping possibilities really open up!  You'll be amazed at where you can shop when you're out of the plus sizes.  I always knew there were more in misses sizes....but until I got there, that's when I REALLY realized it.

Then...it gets tough not to shop!  Congrats!

I don't ever remember shopping at stores that didn't carry plus sizes.  Even in grade school and high school I had to shop in the "special size" section.  I was surprised to see that even Old Navy had sizes in XXL - and I'm not too far from that! 

Well HELLS BELLS, woman!  I THOUGHT my ears were ringing!   Too bad I couldn't have met you there - that IS a really nice LB store, I've had very good luck there ever since it opened.  Although I'm kinda liking Gap, Eddie Bauer, and all the OTHER stores I can now shop in!  You should give me a shout next time you hit Albertville, I can be there in under 10 minutes!

I didn't think we were going there until today, but our plans changed.  Now that I know what a cool place it is, I will definitely be going back.  I'll let you know when and we can meet some day :)

That would be GREAT!  Especially since I can't make Swapkins... I'll be needing a few warmer weather things.  IF WE EVER GET WARMER WEATHER, that is...
