A "feel good moment"

Just thought I'd share a "Good feeling moment" with all of you. I brought my hubby lunch yesterday to his work, to have a mini celebration with him because he got a promotion at work. The receptionist didn't recognise me, she told my hubby after I left that I looked so different, that she noticed I lost alot of weight. and that I looked so young....... Then another lady there had told my hubby that I'm so little and young looking, My hubby asked her, "What, do I look old?" Hee Hee. I was on cloud nine last night when he told me this. I've NEVER EVER been called "Little."

Well, for the record, I have called you little! Maybe not to your face, but dang, girl! You ARE little! And one of these days, your head will come to terms with that! Now ME?? I will NEVER be "little"!!! I've had a few people call me "skinny" or "stringbean" (not ready to accept those, either), but little just isn't in my genes! OR my "jeans"!!! LOL

Thanks Darla. It's just all my life I've always been plus size, or the biggest out of my friends. It's just a cool moment to have someone call me little............And yes, maybe someday my brain will come to terms with my body. You are beautiful, and have done so well at loosing. Your makeup, especially your eyeshadow is always applied so nice. And I love the fluffy scarf's you wear, they are awesome! Thanks again, Kelly

Good for you Kelly! It feels so good when people notice. I have been called "slim" lately, and it seems so weird and hard to accept. Keep up the good work!

Thank you KellyAnn. It was a good feeling, and one I'll never forget. Man, I just can not believe people think I'm little. I've always been the "Big" one.

I'm so glad you are feeling good. If I did not know that you had WLS and I saw you on the street, I would think that you had been little all of your life. Keep up the good work.
