Great timing
I got a call today from my health coach at HealthPartners for the 4 month check in (they follow you for 2 years out I believe) and I was really honest with her and told her that I had started snacking, but knew I need to stop now. We talked about what I can do to keep myself from snacking, especially at night which is when it is the worst. I am planning on making signs to put on my cupboards and fridge to remind me to drink some water or crystal light instead of grabbing a snack. I think park of my problem is that I really enjoyed eating and now with not eating that much I miss it and so I snack just so I can eat. But, I am going to go back to crocheting and even possibly jewelry making to keep my hands busy so that I am not eating out of boredom. I am determined to beat this monster back into it's box and lock the door. I made another appointment with my health coach in 2 months, but she reminded me that if I need to talk before that to just give them a call and she would be happy to talk with me. I need to remember this!
Thanks, I have realized that if I am going to be successful with this and really use my tool I had to do something.
Rollerblading is going slowly! I had forgotten how long it had been since I was on skates of any kind and I grew up on roller skates! So, I am taking it slow. Friday I went a little ways and then walked around the lake, but hey I only fell once!
WTG!! I am proud of you!!! HUGS!

Thanks for sharing your tip about the signs you put up to remind you of not snacking - I'm definitely doing the same thing. Hope you are successful. Definitely use your health coach when you're struggling - that's what she's there for. Way to go - admitting your struggles and tackling them head on - I'm confident you will win the fight over the head stuff! Keep it up!
Nicole,
I was going to say this last night, but didn't manage to squeeze it in - so I'm saying it here now. I have noticed how much you've opened up in just the past month! You talk more, you share more, you're putting yourself out there to challenge yourself in ways that can only help you be more successful with your weight loss - and all the other issues you are dealing with. At the risk of sounding condescending, I really am PROUD of you!!! WTG!!!
