have you researched all your optiions for WLS??
Is this your PCP you met with today??
IMO, it is VERY important to have a PCP who is 100% on board with you having WLS. Otherwise, in the future, anything you see them about will immediately be blamed on your surgery and you might not get treated, medically speaking, in the proper manner.
Just a few things to think about.
GOOD LUCK!
I see it similar to when you get into a class your first day and the teacher drills you about how hard it's going to be. Half the students drop it the next day, and the rest, who truly want it, stay.
If you truly want this life change and this wonderful tool, whichever surgery you choose, you'll stay. :-)
GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!

It is good he stressed the life style change because as any of the "losers" will tell you it definately is! And I agree with the poster above that said if you decide this is for you- You need to have your personal care provider behind you!
