I know that if you do not get enough carbohydrates in, you can get dizzy from that, loose balance etc.  Glad you are going to see your doc.  Probably only blood work will tell.

I'm no expert BUT I've seen similar symptoms described on the main board and the end result for those I remember was: Hyperinsulinemic Hypoglycemia with Nesidioblastosis After Gastric Bypass Surgery

Please make sure you are checked for this by your doctor.  Might be over-kill but better safe than sorry.

This is one of those side-effects of gastric bypass that isn't really mentioned much - at least that used to be the case...it's getting a lot more attention these days!

GOOD LUCK girl!!!

it's really scarey if NOT detected and treated...the good news is if caught - there IS treatment!

Carol, When I had surgery 4 years ago my potassium level dropped really low. Once my primary care doctor put me on potassium pills the dizziness, tiredness etc. were gone.  Have your doctor ck your potassium level. ps, I would love to meet you for coffee some saturday, Betty  S. from the old Fingerhut Customer Service. you are doing great
