Just sort of curious....who had Dr Fausing, is that how you spell it, for a tummy tuck and about how much did it run?

No, I haven't and I'm not really the one interested. I'd still like to lose more weight after I get my thyroid back in shape. But as for tummy tucks...I think I'll just see how life is before I worry about having surgery. I have a friend that is very interested but a bit uncomfortable to come forward, so I told her I'd ask on the board.

I didn't have Dr. Fausing, but had a TT in 4/2006 - Paid out of pocket 5400.00 I cashed in a 401 from a previous employer. was the best money I've spent - was also able to deduct from taxes - had to count the money as income and deducted hospital/surgeon fees in addition to other medical charges I had. Hope that someone who had Dr Fausing contacts you for his information.

Do you mean Dr. Michael Fasching at Westhealth? I had a lower body lift/breast lift done by him in 2004. Highly recommend him. I paid $11,500 back then for both done at the same time and it was outpatient.

Thanks Lori, I'll pass the information onto my friend. She had a breast reduction and was so happy with that and now thought she'd see about the TT.

Hey Hon! When it comes to $$$ check around with the varies WONDERFUL PS's out there! THey all vary in $$$ and it doesn't hurt to check them all out!!! I had a consult with a different PS doc and love him and he has a great reputation and does fabulous work also! I too have heard great things about Dr. F tho!

I had Dr Fasching do a lower body lift and a breast lift with implants last June. Total cost for all was right around $17,500. It was done out patient. I am absolutely thrilled with the results.

If your friend is getting consults I'd also recommend Dr. Jennifer Harington from Edina Plastic Surgery. She did a fantastic job for me. Her fees vary depending on several factors. I had a hernia repair scheduled at the same time and have a few things that made me a more complicated case. I can't say enough good things about her as a surgeon and as a person.

I had Dr. lundquist, my insurance paid for the panniculectomy, but he gave me a full tummy tuck with out charging me the extra most charge. so I just paid my copay. with out insurance Dr. Lundquist was $5,800 for full tummy tuck Dr. leigh edina plastic surgery $12,500 for circumfrential tummy tuck, lipo of thighs back fat, and BA Dr. vogt was $18,000 for circumfrential tummy tuck, lipo back fat and thighs, BL and BA
