Sandy, You can go to www.shrinkpictures.com and resize your images.   That's the site I use to make them 100 pixels so I can use them here.  Hope that helps.

ok, here is the website: http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/ now remember, whenever possible, try to chose a picture you don't need to crop before you put it through the shrinker.  Sometimes when we crop a picture, it can become disproportionate, and then when it is applied to the avatar "frame," it may get stretched in some odd way to be forced to fit.   Remember that a highly detailed picture may lose a lot of details when going through the shrinker, because the pixel count is being made smaller, thus causing little details to be lost or blurred.  If you do need to crop a foto before shrinking it, keep in mind that the pixel count will change because a small part of the picture is being stretched to fit a preset frame.  Make sure you use a program that keeps the same length and width proportions, meaning that when you operate the cropping tool, all the sides move at the same time.  Now, If this didn't help you a bit, send your original pics to me via email, explaining to me what you want, and I'll take a shot at  it for you.   Sandie, you know my address, but Connie, I will PM it to you just in case you need to use it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I now have a clear picture!  I bookmarked the site, that is so much easier than haow I was shrinking them before!  Hopefully I will have a new picture if I ever get the pics from Easter from my parents!
