And I got to meet SANDIE!!!   WOWOWOWWW!!!  You are just incredible, girl - I need to get myself to a coffee WITHOUT a speaker, so I can actually have some time to just chat with YOU!!  But today's coffee was really good, really got me thinking about some things my family deals with, and how I might be able to help them help themselves. Sandie, you are gorgeous - even more beautiful than your pictures here!  Hard to believe you ever had a weight problem.  Man...  and your girls are just precious!  (perhaps I should use the word "daughters"???   )  I hope they weren't flying too high after those ginormous cookies!!! LOVE YOU LOTS, SANDIE!!!

Sandie, it was so wonderful meeting you and all of the other women there!  I would have to agree w/Darla that your picture does you no justice!  I really enjoyed listening to Mary she said a lot that really resonated with how I used to live my life and am still working on changing. I am very interested in the talk on boundaries.   Thanks again for setting this up it was great I only wish I could have stayed longer, but maybe next time when I don't have to hurry up to Hinckley to help split & stack wood!

I just wanted to post that i agree with the other ladies about out speaker.  It was like she had been watching me all my life, and knew where I had been and what is happening to me.  I did experience joy, and anger, and sadness during her talk, because I felt validated, victimized, empowered, and hopeful.  I have been making so many changes to how I approach my own history, and present, and plans for the future, and it was just so enlightening to know that I am not alone, that I am on the right track, and that there is somebody out there who understands and wants to help me with my specific issues.  Now, this is not to say that i don't appreciate everything that you all do, this is just  different.  I can't even describe here all the feelings and thoughts this brought out of me.  I am so looking forward to the next time Mary can come and talk with us again.  I really do encourage anybody who is interested in their own personal growth to attend one of her lessons.    And I will say this for any who may be skeptical, it wasn't like sitting in church at all, and it's not at all airy-fairy.

Christi, I completely agree with everything you said.  It was like she had taken the last 28 years of my life and laid it all out.  I am so grateful for the experience to meet her and I am hoping to be able to see her again!  It is nice to know that we aren't in this battle towards a healthier self alone!
