Hey all!  Day 2 is going great!  How about you?  Getting your water and protein???  Any struggles?? I need to up my water......not as much as this time yesterday....but doing good!! HUGS

Thank you for keeping us on track, Sandie. I am doing better today, thanks to NOT taking any vicodin! I am enjoying a french vanilla blackberry protein shake as I sit here reading the board......286 calories and 36 grams of protein. Delicious!

Believe it or not, I could totally do a liquid diet forever.  Okay, maybe not forever, but quite frequently.  I'm one of those people who was told to NOT rely on protein drinks so much.  I kinda dread tomorrow.

Hi Sandie Day 2 has gone well for me, too.  I am doing fine.  My scale is looking good.  Both my hubby and I lost 2 pounds the first day.  Yeah, I know that is all water...but I don't care.  The numbers looked nice on m y scale. But I am looking forward to tomorrow when we can add eggs and fish.  More variety. I bought a used pair of jeans in excellent condition in a juniors size 11 today and they almost fit!  I have them hanging up in plain sight where they are encouraging me to lose another 20 pounds!  My sizes vary from an 8 to a 12...depending on the type of clothing or brand.  I am  hoping to end up a size 8 with maybe an occasional 10.  hahahaha  It wasn't that many months ago, I would have been so  happy for a size 14.  Guess we get greedy further along.  It's fun, though. I've been drinking 66 ounces of water a day and getting more exercise walking to the bathroom so often!!!! Good luck to everyone with day 3 ahead.

I cheated today...I had a piece of beef jerky early this morning But for some reason, my lunch made me dump, big time dump!  I'm still feeling poorly from it.  I don't want to eat or drink any thing!  All I had was split pea soup-which I've had dozens of times with no problems.  I don't know if I measured too much and ate too much, or ate too fast (there was no meat in it or chunks).  All I know is, I've been miserable since 1 and it's 5:30 now.  The worst dumping I've ever had to date.  So, I guess I paid for my crime (the jerky).  Hopefully, I'll wake up feeling better tomorrow....Hope others are doing well today! Debi

I bombed last night while I was trying to stay awake while I was writing a poem for Justin's family and getting it framed and such.  Soooo....will have to do this some other time.

Hi everyone!  This is going great and I, too, could stay on liquids longer.  Overall, I feel so energetic, although had felt queasy twice Monday, and have taken it easy (likely carb withdrawal after the Lodge).   I've been pushing strict liquids:  strained cream soups with seasoned powder, s/f jello, and four Slim Fast Low Carb (20 g protein) canned shakes, and not quite 64 oz water.  Yesterday on  day two, I actually had all the same, except did make s/f pudding which was so filling, I couldn't stick with it for the fifteen minutes.  Was also upsetting to my pouch!  No upper dumping, just nausea and four trips to the bathroom with Hershey squirts--likely from too much s/f hot chocolate Monday).  I really look forward to having soft protein today: eggs, tuna, salmon, and tilapia. Very excited to try recipes for each meat from  Living After WLS Neighborhood cookbook. Have gotten in 64 oz water plus so far, half a 20oz bottle.  Off to bed soon, and can't wait to step on the scale upon arising later!  Best of the best to each of you! Hugs galore, Patti (nine days til Vegas baby!)
