OT: Disney World (FL) or DisneyLand (CA)?
We know we'd like to take our boys Memorial week to one or the other, but we cannot decide. DH & I have been to World pre kids and so we're thinking Land...can see the ocean, take 2 days and go up to San Francisco, etc., but I need your opinions/thoughts/advice if you've been to either with little one's, please! TIA peeps!
In case it helps...we'd be flying, we'd rent a car, our boys are 6 & 4.
I have been to both places more than a few times, with and without kids. Really, with either you can see some grea****er, be it the Pacific or Gulf, both are very lovely. Personally, we try to get to Disney World more often just because it is so much bigger. And if you do fly to Florida and don't plan on doing anything other than Disney and stay at a Disney hotel, then you don't need to rent a car. Disney has a great service that will pick you up at the airport and bring your luggage straight to your room. They'll also bus you back to the airport at the end of your trip. They don't have that same service in California since they don't have the same kind of hotel space. However, if you want to do more than Disney, California has much more to offer. I would check out the prices of flights and everything else you could possibly want to do and make the decision from there. Either way, you'll have a great time. It's a very good time of year weather wise to go on vacation.

Enjoying life and all of it's bumps and bruises along the way.
I'd pretty much have to echo what Leiah (I probably butchered the spelling, sorry! QUACK!!) said. They're BOTH fabulous! But if you stay at a Disney resort in Florida, their buses will take you to any Disney property/park you want to go to - the buses drop you off closer to the gates than if you drive yourself & park, and kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the buses! That's part of the adventure! We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and it was lots of fun to stay there for a bit of "down time" between theme park visits! Plus, I thought SeaWorld Orlando was much more entertaining than San Diego - just MHO. Maybe you could check if you could do a one or two day car rental from the resorts (I have to think you could!) for your day at the ocean? Daytona isn't too far from Orlando, and you won't be there during crazy college kid invasion time. HOW FUN!!! Hey - do you need a traveling nanny? I'm available!
