We know we'd like to take our boys Memorial week to one or the other, but we cannot decide. DH & I have been to World pre kids and so we're thinking Land...can see the ocean, take 2 days and go up to San Francisco, etc., but I need your opinions/thoughts/advice if you've been to either with little one's, please! TIA peeps!

In case it helps...we'd be flying, we'd rent a car, our boys are 6 & 4.

Amy, We've been to both also. I think it depends on what else you want to do. If you want the ocean for a day, I'd go to Florida. Kelly

I have been to both places more than a few times, with and without kids.  Really, with either you can see some grea****er, be it the Pacific or Gulf, both are very lovely.  Personally, we try to get to Disney World more often just because it is so much bigger.  And if you do fly to Florida and don't plan on doing anything other than Disney and stay at a Disney hotel, then you don't need to rent a car.  Disney has a great service that will pick you up at the airport and bring your luggage straight to your room.  They'll also bus you back to the airport at the end of your trip.  They don't have that same service in California since they don't have the same kind of hotel space. However, if you want to do more than Disney, California has much more to offer.  I would check out the prices of flights and everything else you could possibly want to do and make the decision from there.  Either way, you'll have a great time.  It's a very good time of year weather wise to go on vacation.

I'd pretty much have to echo what Leiah (I probably butchered the spelling, sorry!  QUACK!!) said.  They're BOTH fabulous!  But if you stay at a Disney resort in Florida, their buses will take you to any Disney property/park you want to go to - the buses drop you off closer to the gates than if you drive yourself & park, and kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the buses!  That's part of the adventure!  We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort, and it was lots of fun to stay there for a bit of "down time" between theme park visits!  Plus, I thought SeaWorld Orlando was much more entertaining than San Diego - just MHO. Maybe you could check if you could do a one or two day car rental from the resorts (I have to think you could!) for your day at the ocean?  Daytona isn't too far from Orlando, and you won't be there during crazy college kid invasion time. HOW FUN!!!   Hey - do you need a traveling nanny?   I'm available!

I'd pick Disney World any day.  The guests at DisneyWorld are likely out of towners, looking for the vacation experience.  At DisneyLand you get a lot of locals who don't appreciate the experience as much.  Plus, so much more to do at DisneyWorld and transportation is great!

I would say World just because you can buy the park hopper passes and go back anf forth between there, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. There is also Downtown Disney and some water parks. Land is fun too, but it is a loooooong drive to San Fran which is a cool place too. I wish I had such a tough decision to make  I am sure you will enjoy no matter where you go.

I vote for Disney world!!!!!!!!!!!!  Its bigger and there are many more things to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have never been to disneyland, but to me, it seems so much smaller.  Either way, you will love it!!!!!!

Disney WORLD is my vote! Don't forget Kennedy Space Center is only a couple of hours south of there. Not sure how old your boys are, but boys and girls of all ages can no doubt get into the space theme. Enjoy....SO jealous!! BTW, if you need a babysitter / trip planner / tour guide / and SO much more to make the trip easier I'll volunteer to squeeze in your bags.
