In the beginning *under 1 month*, is it possible to overeat and not know it?  Do most people get nauseous or throw up when they've had too much even this early out or is it imperative to measure measure measure this early in the game in order to NOT pu****

Trisha, Measure, measure measure!!!!  This will get you into a routine where you will not even attempt to deviate from.  Remember we have to retrain the brain to think smaller bits, amounts etc.. Troy

I just worry too much about stuff.....but the thing is...I don't EVER feel full and I measure my food, but I will admit to eating a whole thing of SF pudding and not realizing it cuz i was watching TV...BIG NO NO!  I didn't get sick, I didn't feel nauseous and that kinda scared me.  Stupid mistake.

Pudding is a slider food... it goes in and oozes out so fast you never really get the satisfaction of full that you would with a protien rich food. Slider foods are bad due to the fact that it goes through so fast you feel hungry fast and while your absorbing the calories your tummy wants more food. Slider foods are really bad habit to get into.  Also eating while watching tv or on the phone, you are distracted and wont hear your full meter go off. Dont push your pouch.... you dont need to "feel" full to get what you need in.  You should feel satisfied which is the step before too full.

LOTS of people don't feel full immediately after surgery. I know I didn't until I moved to regular foods (ie Chicken).  Eat only what they tell you to - measure! There's no way to eyeball it at the beginning. Your eyes are going to be much bigger than your tummy. Mine still are.

Please spay and neuter your pets!
