My new pouch works!!!!! YIPPEE!!!!

Pre-opers...take note!   I am learning fast that we all find our way down this path in one way or another.  We all will have our own unique story to tell with WLS journey!   Durnig the full LD phase I was honestly worried I would have to have sessions learning how to eat and knowing when I am done.  I was hungry most of the time during this post-op LD phase.  I did not feel hungry pre-op LD....go figure!     I started pureed yesterday and I am so thankful to say my pouch works!     I was thinking, before the pureed stage that I may be the ONE person that RNY surgery is not going to work for.   Thank goodness for the pureed stage, it is more bulky and I now feel satiety after about five bites.  Whoo Hoo!    I am so thankful for my new pouch!  

I've been a lurker for a few months and just had my RNY on Wednesday.  I was worried too because I haven't really felt full after I take my liquids, although, I'm not hungry either.   I can't wait to get to the pureed phase!

Welcome to the board (as a non-lurker).  Nice you came out of hiding. CONGRATS on your surgery....you are officially a LOSER!

So glad to hear your pouch works. Although I knew that it would.  Glad that the pureed diet is filling you up more and that you can feel the fullness.  Hip hip horray!!

WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  Congrats!  I believe each of us has probably thought we would be the first it didn't work for.  *S*  Keep up the GREAT work!
