Dr. Thomas Jones
One of my employee's is going to have a gastric bypass by Dr. Jones, she just started the process mid Feb. and already see's him next week, sounding like surgery is soon......those of you that had him, did your's go fast like that too? Hubby wants procedure done, and I am like wow, maybe he should go there, though I really love my doc! He has an appointment on April 25th, hoping it wont take as long as my stuff did Our insurance deductable has now been met and all our medical expenses will be paid now but our insurance year starts October 1. It will be close.
HELGA! Why are you such a stranger around here? WE LOVE YOU! You should find your way out to Baker this weekend!!!
As for Dr. Jones, I sent in my paperwork last year on January 17th, my surgery was April 27th. So a bit over 3 months, but yeah - it has more to do with your insurance than Dr. Jones' schedule....

Sorry I've been so out of it. The truth is I'm website challenged, and can't seem to figure out how to start my own webpage so that I can do all the images and icons and fun things that every two year old seems to know how to do, but is so difficult for me to grasp. I also don't take a lot of time at work to read this at work, and home is a chisel and a block of stone (dial up) so....
What is Baker? I was planning on auditioning for a play this Saturday if I get my gumption up. Also, sorry everyone that I didn't make it to group last night. Was very busy with a meeting. Wish I could have been in two places at once yesterday.
We're doing an over night at Baker this Saturday - noon to noon on Sunday. Mostly just hanging out, laughing, maybe playing games, doing some Maple Syruping later in the afternoon. Sleeping in rustic cabins (4 bunks each = up to 8 people per cabin), but YOU could have a MAN CABIN all to yourself if you so choose!! Although PERSONALLY, I'm guessing you'd be a RIOT to stay up late and get all loopy tired silly with!!! As politically incorrect as it may be to say...
If you're at ALL interested, see the post above and give me a call! You could even just come for the evening if staying over sounds too frightening!
THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Once I met the 6 months of insurance requirements I met with Dr. Jones early December and then my surgery was scheduled for 1/29. I think the speed of the process really depends on your insurance and maybe a little luck with the surgeons schedule. I do recommend him. My own primary doctor who had a Non-WLS related surgery with Dr. Jones says he's the best.
