Another good resource is www.rent411.com  I used both their website and their monthly catalogue to find my new apartment.  It is nice because they show you next to each property some the key things people look for like if they accept cats.  I hope you are able to find something you like!

I would advise checking rent.com, and the paper.  Note that the websites offer $100 signing bonuses if you found an apartment through them.  Good luck, I'm just beginning the hunt for a new place starting in July.
