ONE YEAR SURGIVERSARY
Tracy,
You are a wonderful person and I am blessed to have met up with you once again! You are a beautiful person with a kind, loving heart, and your pictures look fantastic! It's easy for me to say "don't beat yourself up" but hard to take that medicine myself, so please keep being kind to yourself, you are doing great!

Taking our own advice is so hard - we feel as if we don't deserve it. That's so not true and I finally believe that I do deserve it. It's because of friends like you and I'm forever grateful. I hate to say this, because if I could choose to live a skinny life of course I would; but the friends that I have met on this journey because of my obesity has made it worth while to go through this struggle with weight. I know I am who I am because of the weight and because of all of you. How wrong can that be?
Love you to pieces and hope to see you tonight at group.
Take care!

Darla,
You know the poem, A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime - right? I've known since the day I figured out you weren't the grandma I thought you were in your first avatar
that you would be one of my lifetime friends. You have had a major effect on my life - in ways you'll never know. I'm thankful every day that God put you in my life.
Can't wait to hug you tonight and this weekend!
Take care sweets!

Wow Tracy what an accomplishment. Congratulations on your Surgiversary. You deserve it! You are the reason I got involved in the board and started coming to coffees. They day we met at the Y you just had this big welcoming smile on your face and made me feel so comfortable about this journey. You have had such a positive impact on so many. Enjoy your day!!

Thanks so much for sharing how I've impacted you - it's certainly nice to hear that I am giving back to those that have impacted me so much. I'm so excited for you and your journey. I look forward to your post in about a year where you're able to share so much about where your journey has brought you. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting, but it's all been worth it and it will be worth it for you too!
Take care - and by the way - are you coming this weekend now?
Tracy, Tracy, Tracy...This year you have had your emotinal ups and down. Through it all you have looked so beautiful! I am more of a conservative person and keep my face off the boards, and don't post a heck of alot about my personal life. Heck, I still get embarrased to buy tampons. Can't believe I even typed it, but, outside the box I go. Because you have been so expressive during you journey, you have really, really helped me through my process and I want to thank you for that. I am so glad you are in a new place inside you since your a definatley a new person on the outside.
YOu really look great! Have a Happy Surgerversary!
Spelling disclaimer- I can't spell, and I know I can't spell

One thing that I've learned on this journey is that your friends are so appreciative to be a part of it. You have to go with your comfort level, but I from my perspective the only reason I've gotten to this point is from the love and support I've received when I've been open.
Thank you for your kind words and take care!
Hi Tracy~
Congratulations on a job well done! This year has been a trial for you, as I recall, but you have endured and now look at you!!!! Everybody's journey is different--some seem to glide right on through, while for others every step of the way is an uphill battle. The end result is pretty well the same--success (in whatever way that is defined). You and Amy have been so willing to share your struggles that your journeys must seem magnified. I think and hope that your success is that much sweeter, for being so generous in sharing your WOW! and AHA! moments. And may those moments just keep on a'comin'!
And YES!!! YOU ARE WORTH LIVING AND YOU ARE WORTH LOVING--to the 'nth' degree! You, my friend, are so precious!!
Thanks for sharing yourself in those wonderful missives you write. You are TRULY an inspiration!
(((HUG))) and
**SUE**

Thanks Sue,
This journey has certainly been more than just weight loss - something I would have never dreamed of when signing up for surgery, but it has all been worth it! Thanks to you for all your constant support through my journey!
