ONE YEAR SURGIVERSARY

                 120 LBS GONE FOREVER!    I'll keep this short because I just got finished writing a lengthy note to my support group outside of this forum which is posted on my profile in case any of you want to read it. But I wanted to take a minute on my one year anniversary of the best gift ever given to me to say thank you to each and everyone of you on this board.   A year ago my motto was, "Dress twice as nice to look half as good." This year my new motto is below in my signature, "I'm worth LIVING. I'm worth LOVING."  The people on this board are directly responsible for helping get me to this new place in my life.   In response to me not being able to believe the beautiful things people would say about me, my dear friend, Darla, wrote, "Tracy, we can't all be wrong." I can't tell you how much of an impact on my life those six small words have had on my life.  It was then that I could finally believe that I was really, truly an okay person, that I wasn't less than everyone else. Even though it took those six words for me to begin to believe, all of the kind words and encouragement and support from each of you are what led up to the moment I began to believe.  I can't thank each and every one of you enough for what you have done in my life.  Please know that I will hold a special place in my heart for each of you and hope that I have had even a fraction of an impact on your life as you have had on mine. Thanks Lisa! I love that you use the butterfly analogy - I think many of us feel that way.  Emerging from this cocoon we've spun around ourselves to become this beautiful creature that we always knew we were capable of becoming but didn't really believe that it could become reality. BTW - Your new avie is beautiful - your transformation is amazing!
