1 year appt. results

Had my 1 year post-op appt today with my nurse and then Dr. Jeff Baker.  Everything is great and they are all pleased with my progress.  I have lost a total of 130 lbs.  My BMI was 56.5 at surgery, now it is 35,  I have lost 13" off my waist and 17" off my hips!  My blood pressure is 110/62!  I would like to lose another 40 lbs and Dr. Jeff was fine with that,  he said it was a good realistic goal.  I have lost 62% of my excess body weight.  They also gave me copies of my before pics and after pics,  I will post them later on my profile. This surgery is amazing and life changing!  I would do it again in a second.  I do feel better although it doesn't solve everything.  I did get rid of my high blood pressure though. 

WOW. To think you have completely changed you looks in a year. And how many years have all of us carried this weight around? The endless wonders of WLS. Congrats, and you look wonderful!
