I need my butt kicked

Okay so I really struggled through this last weekend.  I was at my parent's house from Thursday night until Monday afternoon and I have learned that my secret eating get really bad when I am there.  I have also tested the waters with some candy and didn't dump...bad me I know.  I have to get back to the diet prescribed and stop eating the SF sweets.  I went grocery shopping last night and picked up some strawberries in the hopes that a strawberry will curb my cravings for sweets.  I am also really needing to start my exercise back up.  LAst week I only exercised twice and the weeks prior to that I was sick so this month has not been very good exercise wise.  I am hoping with today being my last in class class and only having 1 online class left that I will be able to really get back into the swing of things.  I really need to refocus myself and stop with the eating later at night, which has always been my weakness, so that I can get down to Onderland by mid April and I would love to be able to move into a size 16 so that I can give my 18s to my mom (sorry she claimed dibs on them this weekend).  Thanks for listening any suggestions for getting back on the right path would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone struggles.  If not, then this would be the cure-all solution to obesity.  Stress eating is second in line to boredom eating.  Admitting you need to make some changes is the first step.  I've never really kicked up my exercise regimine because of back problems.  Now that I feel better, I just get lazy.  We worked hard to be where we are at.  And we've got a ways to go.  Our surgery dates were around the same time.  I think our picnic days are numbered! Perhaps find someone to be accountable to.  And praise yourself for what you've done.  Don't be down on yourself for a few bad choices.  We'll struggle for this for years to come.  Use the tools that you have and pick yourself up and start again.  You'll do great! Admitting you need to be held accountable is the first step doll... There are a couple of us here that email each other daily with what we ate, how much we drank and did we move that day. We could add you to our list if you like? It makes a difference cuz i know I don't wanna write down... that i ate a cookie... or snuck some food ect. which BTW if your "sneaking" food.... who are you sneaking it from? it's YOUR journey and YOU know you snuck it..... get to coffees or support groups or a therapist if need be... you've worked too dang hard to get where you are and it's early in the game to be messing around... the nice thing is that your tool is still there waiting for you to use it... so get on the stick doll! Good luck and many hugs PS~ your booty has officially been kicked! L.

Lisa, Thank you so much that was a lot of what I needed to hear.  I would love to be added to your email list I will PM you with my email addy later today.  Thinking back on when I sneak food it almost feels like what the beginning of my binges used to feel like.  I have been through counseling for Binge-Eating Disorder and thought I had a good handle on it, but I guess it has decided to come back and visit.  I am commited to going to the PNC support groups twice a month and I am hopefully going to be able to start getting to more coffees as well.  Thank goodness I have this tool to go back to and work after veering off the path...I am determined this time will be different and keep plowing ahead.

Nicole, Please e-mail us and check in, Lisa and I and a few others are doing this and it helps, however I have snacked too on Sunday with some candy, so don't feel like you are the only one and don't beat yourself up.  Also are you coming to the Near Wilderness Lodge this weekend? I don't get to much other than PNC support group, but I can't wait to go to this and hang out with everyone.

Laura, I sent Lisa B my email so that I can get into emailing on a daily basis what I have eaten, water, exercise, etc.  I am planning on going to the Near Wilderness thing this weekend and am super excited for it.   I am also starting to track my food on thedailyplate.com so I can track exactly how much I am putting into my body calorie, protien, fat, etc.  Hopefully this will get me back up and running.

Sounds like you have already kicked your own butt I eat soooo many sf popsicles. They are my munchie of choice (that is when I am out of sunflower seeds).
