Adding "friends"??

I'm fairly new here, what's the protocol for adding someone as a "friend"? Do you typically ask first?

Anyone live near Moorhead, wanting another "friend"?

You can either send a request or others will request to add you - either way works. IMO, having people in your friends list makes it easier & quicker to get to their profiles.

"Judy Ann" will want to be everyone's friend even though she's from California, just because she is wanting the highest number of friends I think - I know Paul would agree with me on that one. Skip that noise!
