Sugar Free Candy......How often and when?
There is a reason I became overweight. I am a week post-op (tomorrow) and I am wondering when I can have a SF Dove Chocolate? I wish I wasn't wondering this, but I am.
It's a good thing I go to see my Cognative Behavioral Therapy guy this week! I know it's a head hunger thing and the calories are empty...........
Let me know you thoughts!

Not sure WHEN you can have it......but look at the label....it's got 17g of sugar alcohol in it. Not a good thing. By the way...careful of ANY sugar free chocolate because it has a laxative effect. A guy I work with ate a whole bag of sugar free resees pb cups and had to go home after a half hour. hehe
By the way, how was your post-op?
Hi Lisa Joy!
How about 'never'?
I'm willing to bet that you've read posts from folks who wish they had NEVER tested their pouches with a particular food item. Some dumped, some did okay, all wish they had never tempted fate or their pouch! NOW--in this awesome HONEYMOON period--is the time to develop your self-control in those areas where you'd otherwise be weak.
YOU CAN DO IT!! (Fight the MONSTER, that is!)

Oh my! It's good I have you all to check in with. I thought it was totally okay to have it.... Oh no! I'm sure glad I know now. Since it's SF, I thought it was fine....boy, I guess I have a lot to learn!
Thanks for the responses!
