Debbie! (Lisa, I did a no-no on Easter and got my hand slapped too. . . Except you were smart and asked first. Are you using thedailyplate? I don't know what I'd do without it. Thanks for telling me about it.) Cindy

Sugar alcohols make me dump worse that real sugar. Try not to get into the habit, and if you must, remember EVERYTHING IN MODERATION. SF does not mean calorie or carb free. The other problem is what you can tolerate today, you may dump on tomorrow. Good luck, I had to deal with this too, and coming here really helped me figure out better alternatives when I got cravings.

I think that now that you can have pudding you will find that the SF chocolate fudge will take away your thoughts about chocolate at this point .

Hi Lisa, For now, my advice is to think of your new pouch as a baby tummy.  Would you feed a 1 week old baby chocolate?  No.  Hang in there - have some sf pudding as suggested or a sf fudge bar.  Now I am realistic...will you never have a piece of chocolate for the rest of your life?  Maybe yes, maybe no.  Depends on the individual.  I'm five years out and I can tolerate some sugar and do indulge at times.  Do I say that's ok for everyone?  No.  Do I feel guilty and beat myself up for it?  No.  Do I overdo it and end up miserable?  Yes, at times.  I pay the piper when I eat stupid.  But I'm human and realistic that I do have to live in a world that is not all WLS friendly.  Moderation is the key for long term success. That said....you are still a "baby" and need to follow the straight and narrow as long as possible.  It's your honeymoon period these next couple of years and it's time to learn a new way of life.  You'll find your way and there will be bumps.   But it will be a bumpy ride that is SO worth it! Buckle up!

I can not believe you asked this question- what a coinsidence. I was on the Dove website just this morning looking to see what SF chocolate they have available. I thought for sure if anyone could make SF choc. good it would be Dove. Luckily, they only make dark SF chocolate, or I would have went out during my lunch to buy some. With all the easter choc going around I was feeling a *****oco-crazy! Glad I know now, that SF choco is a no-go. Time to dive into a lil' SF pudding!
