Medica

Hello all! I just had a question about Medica insurance.....  How long do they take for approval?   Has anyone had any problems getting approved? I just had my 2nd nutririon visit and after the next one I will see the surgeon.  Thanks much!!! Shelly PS  This board has helped me tons! Thank you everybody! 

I have medica and I had Dr. Pierce who is in the same clinic with Dr Benn.  It only took about 5 days for approval... those gals there are EXCELLENT!!!!  They know what medica needs and they send it just like medica likes it.  Gina is excellent.....well they all are....I love those gals and they remember you when you call them!!!  They are the BEST!!! 

Oh yeah my BMI was barely at the low end of the range and I had no problems getting approved.  Even with no co-morbidities.  They are really good.... sorry can you tell I think highly of them???

I had Medica, and they took 17 days of pure stress, crying, and stressing some more. But they approved me, and covered my first surgery, the second from the complication, and over $300,000 worth of bills without any problems at all.
