Details for the Lodge overnight!
Okay, people - I'm home, and have all kinds of distraction going on around me, but this is what I have so far!
General info:
the address is 4001 County Road 24, Medina, MN. You can mapquest it, or pm me for specific directions from wherever you are. But essentially, if you can get to Hwy 55, Co. Rd 24 is about 2 miles west of 494. Take 24 south (towards Taco Bell), and follow it out about 6.5 miles - you'll see a large sign on your left for the Baker Near Wilderness Settlement. If you get to the Public Safety Center or the "T" at Co Rd 19, you passed the entrance.

We have the lodge to ourselves from noon Saturday until noon on Sunday - I will be there at noon on Saturday!
Meals:
Please come Saturday already having eaten your lunch, or feel free to bring your lunch along! I will be buying chili fixin's for dinner Saturday, including corn bread and toppings for the chili (FF sour cream, cheddar, green onions...)
FEEL FREE to bring additional sides/snacks along if you feel the need, but remember - we're all WLS people! Mass quantities of food are not necessary!
I will also buy all the fixin's for Lori's yummy breakfast dish Sunday morning, and coffee to keep on in the lodge the whole time. If anyone has frou-frou creamers they want to bring, feel free. The fridge is ginormous.
As for supplies, all I would strongly recommend are sleeping bags & pillows, a flashlight (although each cabin has a lantern), cameras, and clothes for an outdoor program - We'll probably do maple syruping! With this hang-on winter we're having, the sap hasn't run out yet! If you have any fun games we might enjoy, bring those as well! There are no showers, but the lodge has a nice bathroom with sinks - so simple toiletries are fine! (bring your own towel/washcloth).
If you have any clothes you've shrunk out of and want to bring them along, we have a few people who are looking for better fitting clothes - could be a mini-pre-Swapkins!
I really can't think of anything else at this point, except

Guess what I worked really hard this weekend and got all of my homeowrk done for this week as well so I CAN GO! I am so excited I love being outdoors in the woods and haven't really gotten a chance to do so in over a year so I am super excited. If you will be at the SLP PNC support group Wednesday night I can bring the $25 then. If not then if you want to PM me I would be happy to mail you a check. Have a good week!

You're the bestest! This weekend is going to be Fan-FREAKIN-tabulous!!! Please know that just cause you're the coordinator of this doesn't mean you have to treat us all like guests - we're all in this together and we'll be doing the work right along with ya! If you need ANYTHING from ANY of us - you just say the word!

OH I WILL, TRACY, I WILL!!! I've already promised Lori that she doesn't have to do any dishes since she's the breakfast cook on Sunday! (Which, once she sees how easy doing dishes IS in this kitchen, she may wish she had volunteered to do that instead of COOK!)

Ok, so it looks like I have found a "babysitter" for Aaron, I dont want to leave him alone so soon after his surgery. But, he has been pushing me to give you a big fat yes I will be there!!
I am so excited!!! I will be bringing Jockey, and lots of clothes. Just downsized the closet and dressers!!!
