A real test of WLS

A little over 6 month ago, I got back together with a boyfriend I had been with for over 16 years.  Things were going absolutely wonderful - until today.  Some really OLD baggage got brought up and, well, we are no longer together.  I gotta admit - being relatively new to WLS (almost 9 mos), I don't know what to do with myself.  Old habits want to tell me it's time to binge eat - but that's really not an option (thank God!).  So I've bee crying - a LOT.  I'm not used to crying.  It's kinda draining, actually :)  But I swear, if I could, I'd be eating myself out of house and home.  So I guess this is the real test of surgery.  How to handle an emotional crisis.

DOing something always help me through those "tests"...even better is to get together & talk it through with a caring and compassion GF. They get it and can listen & help you feel better without indulging in too much food. It'll all be ok in the end...*BIG HUGS for the day!*

(((Lois))) Well, crying might be emotional draining and tiring, but I am proud of you for not turning to food. You could reasonably eat & drink and push food through but you're NOT! WTG!!! Keep your chin up - brighter days are ahead for sure!

Hi Lois, I'm sending you warm supportive hugs and prayers  for your strength and regained happiness.  Don't cry because it's over,  smile because it happened.  All our painful experiences build our character and make us stronger. Not all your wishes came true, but never be sorry you had them! Tons of luv for you!  Hugs galore, Patti
