I have not posted in like 8 months so just thought I would say hi to all those out there that remember me. It has been almost 5 years since my surgery. My question, As some of you know I have a feeding tube from complications. I recently (thurs night) spent the night in the hospital cause I had blood coming from the feeding tube (so bleeding inside stomach). I was discharged cause the bleeding appeared to have stopped. Well yesterday and today I have had a small amount of blood come out, I do mean small though. So how much do I worry about cause when I went to the ER on wed night there was probably 30cc and they were not worried and it is smaller than that. Just curious if anyone out there have a feeding tube and if so if this has every happened cause I am confused and so is my surgeon.  Anyways just thought I would say hi to everyone I know and have yet to meet. As my mom has always told me: "when in doubt go to the doctor".  If you go in and it was nothing at least you will have peace of mind.  BUT what if you didn't go in and it turned bad??????  Best to you and I hope things get better for you!

I agree....when in doubt call the doc or go in to the er.  You don't want to regret not going if you find out later that you should have if things get worse.  Glad you are Back.

Ditto what everyone else said!  If even your surgeon is baffled...its best to be vigilant and go in! Welcome back!

bleeding of any kind is not good.  Always check this things out.  They can have underlying causes.  If your surgeon doesn't know ask him for a referral to someone who might be able to help.
