Let's see.  I cleaned out my ENTIRE house.  I went through everything.  Started in one closet and just kept going.....Made lots of trips to the Goodwill -- plus you can look for the next size down clothes while you are there.  I baked up a storm....the hubby had dinner on the table every night -- something I NEVER do -- we phen for ourselves because of our work schedules -- plus the neighbors got cookies, breads, cakes, salads, etc.  Went through ALL my pictures -- put names, dates and places on the back of them and sorted into one central place.   I walked, walked, walked, got used to my new food changes -- slowly -- and spent A LOT of time here!!!   But I took six weeks off so I got lots done cause I had lots of time to do it.  Hated going back to work -- totally convinced me I will be soooooo ready for retirement!!!   See you at coffee -- XXOO

So glad to hear your recovery is going nicely!!  Walking is definately a great time passer.  Use caution if walking outside until the snow melts AGAIN..  LOL.. Your body still needs lots of rest too even though you are feeling good, Listen to your body and dont over do things..

THIS is the place to come for ideas!  I will NOT be going stir crazy anymore!    In fact, I don't have as much energy as some of you did.  I need the more relaxing activities.  I'm through with the cleaning.... Thanks for your great ideas!

I BEGGED my surgeon's office to let me go back to work at the one week visit. They said that following Monday I could but not just at one week. So I only ended up being out a week and 3 days! However, hind-sight being what it is I was absolutely exhausted those first couple of weeks back to work so I maybe would have tried all the wonderful creative suggestions everyone has offered. You're doing great though, enjoy the journey!! Sharon

I was bored too!  I will be 2 weeks out on Monday, but went back to work last Wednesday.  I went to the docs. Wed. morning then to work the rest of the day.  Worked an extra long day on Thursday.....then decided to take Friday off as Thursday I was pretty pooped from the day before.  Feeling pretty back to normal now.  Cleaning and getting ready for Easter here. Glad your doing great!

I hung out with my daughter.  We did crafts, cleaned out sock and underwear drawers...  went through pictures and put them in albums or at least jotted a note on the back, knit and crocheted and tried to figure out what the heck size I would be when I finally finished something! I brushed dogs.... walked around... thought about going back to work early and then slapped myself lol Just the normal stuff!  Just tried to get a bit more movement in each day

I learned how to knit and crochet so that I could do that while listening to music. The time passed so fast. Alannah
