I've already gotten rid of almost every single "fat" outfit I own - or I've taken them in at least 10 inches.  Thanks, Sue.

Things are going really slow right now - but that just means I need to step up my program.  But still...110 pounds is nothing to sneeze at :)

Hey Lois, you're absolutely right:  YEAAAAAAAY YOU!  Now, please make a note to yourself to get rid of everything too big AFTER going some laundry!   Way to go sweetie!  Hugs galore  from Patti (who's yet to use your old sewing machine because she's constantly finding perfectly-fitting fabulous clothes at Goodwill and Hopkins thrift store!)

What a great way to put off doing laundry- Why wash clothes that are way to big for you? Great job working the tool, keep it up

That's great, hon - WAY TO GO!  Those comments ARE a compliment, but from my experience, they're also VERY HELPFUL in getting my head to wrap around the changes in my body!  Sometimes I see it, sometimes I'm still the same person I was pre-op.  And fyi, it sounds like you & I have been very similar on our journeys - I was in 32's pre-op, and it DID take people making comments to get me to step outside my clothing comfort zone and try different sizes, different styles (Ali's "baggy ass syndrome" label, a co-worker telling me I need to stop wearing certain things...).  It's all good! CONGRATS on your success!  The weight loss does slow down at times, but your body continues to tighten up - so just keep on doing what you're supposed to, and remember - this isn't a race.  We're all in it for the long haul!!!

Way to go girl - the brain is a weird thing.  I still can't figure out that I don't have to fear going shopping that I won't fit into anything any of the Big Girl stores would have - there was a while that I couldn't fit into clothes at Lane Bryant.  What a great place for you to be! Congratulations on your fabulous success.
