Reality check: Are you getting in ALL of your protein?

lol.  I have read it, but I hadn't thought to apply it to this.  DUH!  I worry myself sometimes.  No, I know my goals are completely revisable, I was just so bummed that I wasn't going 100% with the program, and that I got caught, and that I have a little uphill climb to go here.  You know what I'm scared of?  Is that when I get the all clear to go ahead and lower my caloric intake again, my brain and body will be used to the increased intake, and it will be like the first months after surgery and battling the head hunger again.  I will do what I have to do.  I did the surgery for my health, I'm not going to let my own stupidity turn this tool into a weapon against myself.

Hi Christi...I know what it feels like to be sooooo close to getting rid of the "2", but your body can be on it's own schedule.  It'll happen. I started getting the "light-headedness upon standing" again while I was going through my treatment month and now that I'm back eating more protein and less carbs...I'm feeling more stable.  It's taking time to build my nutritian back up, but I'm doing better each day that I modify my eating habits back to the program. Best wishes to you and have a great time on your visit!

Thanks Edie!  I'm so glad that you are getting stabilized.  The body knows what it needs.  I'm glad I was listening to my body, and hopefully caught whatever this is before it gets serious.  Better yet, maybe the testing will prove that all the symptoms are not related, that it's The TMJ seperate, low sodium and calorie intake seperately, and ok, a little low protein.   I will follow the rules better from here out.  But, I swear that I've been doing the vites and water and all that like I am supposed to.  Dropping that "2" will happen, I know it.  I was just getting a little excited that it was possible to happen by the 29th.  Oh well.  The whole deal just hit me wrong, and knocked me down into the dumper.  I still love my surgery, though.

Thank you, Connie.  I'm going to do what Dr. Baker tells me to do, no cheating, and all will be well.
