Update on Lisa Joy!

I just got back from seeing Lisa! It took a while for her to get up to her room so she had only been in her room for a few mintues. Lisa, was sitting in the chair in hopes of something more comfortable than the bed. You know those hospital beds are not very comfortable. Lisa is extremely tired as to be expected after having major surgery and lots of drugs. Her back is bothering her and they just gave her something to help with the pain. Hopefully that will subside soon!!   Overall is she doing well and again the surgeon was pleased with the surgery!! Please keep Lisa Joy in your prayers for a successful recovery!

Yeah - LisaJoy's a loser!  Thanks for the update Angela - we (Shannon and I ) have been waiting to hear the great news!

I am glad to hear that all went well for her and that she was able to sit up in the chair and that she got some good pain meds.  I will pray that her recovery goes as smoothly as her surgery did.  Thanks for the update Angela!

Yeah!!! Lisa's a loser!!!!  About time!!!  Glad everything went well and she'll feel better once the drugs kick in. Congrats -- walk, sip, rest....repeat!!! XXOO

I'm so glad that Lisa came thru the surgery just fine.  ay Hi to her for me and give her a huge hug...........but gently!!

Yay Lisa!!!!!  Way to kick some butt during surgery!!  Keep those pain meds close...they are your best friend for the next few days and upcoming week.  Take care and walk around a bit...it truly does wonders!
