I'm so hungry I could eat a leg off my dog!
I swear by protein to take away the munchies/hinger. I kind of like the mango Isopure. It's not cheap, but did the trick the whole time I was on clears. It's best very cold with ice. I sipped it and then, chewed gum afterwards to take away the "film" it left in my mouth.
Lisa brought me Mrs. Grass soup mix and that was much tastier, I thought, than the boxes I found at Trader Joes. (Although, I only tried a couple.) I ended up having to salt everything I bought that was low sodium, go figure.
When I transitioned to full liquids, it was so satisfying that I kept feeling like I was cheating. . . BUT I wasn't!
I just had the best bowl of "Cashew GInger Carrot" soup that I found at Valley Natural Foods. I plopped a dollop of plain yogourt in it, added a sprig of parsley and it was colorful, delicious, and filling. (Why couldn't I appreciate this kind of eating pre WLS? Doesn't matter. I just couldn't.)
I know I would DIE with less than 600 cals on any day of the week.
Is your diet now restricted calorie-wise? (You don't have to answer this.)
Trust the history of those that have gone before you, reeeelax, and begin dreaming in the day-time about your hopes and goals which will be manifested sooner than later.
Sooooo happy for you, Linda A, Lisajoy, and everyone else awaiting their GIFT!!!!!!!
Hugs,
Cindy
