Out of Surgery...Feeling Good!

Good Evening! Surgery went very well this morning. I was pretty out of it until early afternoon. Overall I feel pretty good now. I have some back pain that we think may be due the way I was laying in the bed. They gave me a muscle relaxer and a heating pad so hopefully the pain will be gone soon! Only 1 of the 5 incisions has given me any pain. I've been out walkng twice already (one time with my angel Peach),  just one left to go (after my SO gets here). I would have to say the worst part up until now is not being able to have any liquids yet, my mouth is so dry from the anesthesia it's hard to talk. My throat is dry/scratchy from the brathing tube. But, the positive side I'm not hungry! I really thought I'd be miserable by now. My "WOW" moment today was that I  met my mini goal. I wanted to be under 200lbs before surgery and when I weighed in this morning I was 198.5. I'm sure the 2 days of liquid diet assisted me in  reach my goal. It's been along time since I've weighed under 200lbs. Thanks to everyone for the warm wishes and encouragement!
