LD- I've only lost 3 lbs. in 4 full days!

Am I doing anything wrong?  I thought I was suppose to lose around 20lbs on the ld??   Just curious if any of you had a slow start or if I'm doing something wrong? 1/2 decaf 1/2 reb coffee with skim milk 5-6 slim fast, boost or carnation  Mrs. Grass Broth SF popsicles sf jello lots of water crystal light

I know we have different docs - but my guidelines are keep it under 1000 calories and get at least 70-80 grams of protein.

I am on 2 days in and I havent really gone down much yet either.  We have 2 weeks of this nonsense yet- so it will come off.

Your list looks just fine.

PS - 3 pounds WHOO HOO!  3 pounds that won't find their way back.  3 pounds you left in the woods with out breadcrumbs to follow you out.  3 pounds that you left on the side of the road and drove off real fast. Congrats!

(dang it almost sounds like what i would like to do to my kids sometimes LOL just kidding don't call child protection. )

Thanks so much!  You know, I really thought maybe I was doing something wrong.  For instance, my book does not say slim fast as one option, however, the nutritionist told us we could have that!   So, I'm just making sure.  Not obsessing....I know I don't need to.  I have the best thing coming my way ever!  Whoo Hoo!

Call me crazy but that is an average of .75lbs a day. I think that so far 3lbs lost is GREAT!!! I'm sure that your body is just adjusting to this new diet.  They say "Good things come to those who wait"  Love ya!

Im gonna smack you around < giggle> Your are doing great!   Our bodies fight fight at the new change..you wait..... it gives in about a week into it.  Stay off the scale and think of it this way... if you had lost three pounds in four days before I bet you would have been jazzed! Stay the course young lady and stay away from the scale.  This part is for liver shrinkage.... and ya cant see that! your doing grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!

I only lost 4 lbs on the 10 day LD.  My body has always known when I was trying to lose weight and held on to it for dear life.  But now I lose about 1 lb/day.  I'm trying to stay away from the scale and to only weigh once a week.  It really plays head games with me. Just trust that it will work, don't give up!!
