Sores on my butt!

Ok, I know this is weird, even for me. I've developed a sore in the crack between my butt/thigh  under each cheek. I discovered them both a couple of days ago - I hadn't seen them before. My husband (after laughing hysterically cuz I asked him to examine my butt) told me they look like burns? I don't have much extra skin, because I had no butt BEFORE surgery. I this one of those skin fungal thingys? Why would I just start to get them now? I started putting Neosporin on it at night. My husband says it's just the meanness coming out...

Farrah, I would go see your doctor. It's better to be safe than sorry. Maybe he/she could prescribe something that would get rid of it. Good luck, Kelly

Yes of course I will ask my doctor. I was just wondering if anyone else out this far has had something like this.

I get something like that from time to time where I used to have breasts! :-)  Kind of underneath - there's skin but definitely not much of a breast left.  It is kind of like an irritation or burn.  I get it underneath my bust and kind of on the sides sometimes.  It seems worse when I wear certain things or certain bra's.  Definitely not in the same area as yours, but it sounds like the same type of skin irritation.   I use a natural skin balm when it gets bad, and sometimes stuff like Neosporin.  I think it's the loose skin combined with an irritation to a fabric I'm wearing.  It would be more difficult and probably painful in your situation, though, since you have to sit on the area that hurts!  Hope that helps....good luck!

If you remember, please let me know what your doc recommends - I'd like to try it too.  Thanks!

OUCHIE!!  Sounds like a skin irritation.  Is it getting warmer down there?  If so then the moist could be contributing to it.  And it's not uncommon (according to my PS) for people to get them further out.  All that has to happen for skin irritation is rubbing together enough and there it is!  Best to you and hope it goes away fast for you!!!   HUGS
