Hey dear!  Do you see a therapist?  Sometimes just going to one and talking helps alot.  Have you tried to tan?  The light works wonders!  It could be just the season or something more like depression.  Keep an eye out and seek help when needed.  I am waiting for a little umpf myself.....hopefully to get that spring cleaning bug!!!   HUGS and Happiness!

I don't, I tried that for awhile pre-op but I didn't like it at all. I felt like the stuff she was trying to make me focus on were pointless to why I was there in the first place. not to mention she continually asked me "why do you think you felt that way" or why do you do this or that... I'm like uhhhh isn't that what I'm paying YOU to tell ME? LOL anyway, I'll try the tanning and see if that works. the gym I go to offers it

I have gone through a couple of periods of time where I have felt depressed or just kind of blah and I didn't understand why either.  Even though your getting all kinds of good results going through this proccess can be a total mind f*** sometimes.  It's not like the surgery is a magic wand and sometimes all of these changes are a lot for us to wrap our heads around.   I think everyone is different but I got through it without any meds.  Talking about things helps and I see a therapist on a weekly basis so I think that helped. If you feel like things are getting worse making an appointment to see a psychiatrist or therapist might be something to think about.  You can always see what meds might help but you don't have to take them. I hope this helped.

Thanks Suzie Your right about the mind F*** I don't see alot of changes (minus my face****il I see my monthly pictures.. I have to keep looking at them just to keep it in my head that I really do look different. and that just the physical stuff it screws around with... Ikeep changing my hair, and I want to change jobs, (I've wanted to do that for awhile) it's just alot of changes and all at once. I thought I'd done all my homework, I read all I could and asked questions but I don't think you can really prepare yourself for THIS part...and don't get me wrong, I have no regrets, I love my tool, I'm just stumbling how how to deal with this part that I didn't think would happen with me.

Having the funk can be a big bummer. What we all need is for winter to end. Anti-depressants are not the solution for everyone. Find time for yourself and maybe talk to your doctor if you feel you need extra help. It's too bad you won't be around this weekend I think it's bowling night out on Sat? Good like you could use a little fun!

I am taking a little time for myself. I'm heading to Hackensack with the hubs mom and SIL. It's just a girls weekend, so hopefully that will help some. I'm a little bummed about missing hte OH outing but I'll be at the campout at the end of the month though.

Hi Lisa B! I would speculate you're going through a double whammy---wild hormones and winter schlump!  This too shall pass? Hang on, girl!  You're doing an awesome job losing the weight!   And spring is just around the corner!  (((HUG))) **SUE**
