I had no pain at the hospital except just before I came home, it was so awful last night, I tried to walk around, I couldn't do it very well. I did sleep alot last night. Pain still pretty bad, but not quite as bad, hubby went and got me some coted tylenol. The Oxycodone they gave me is huge. It got stuck, that hurt. Havent quite mastered the old pill taking yet I guess. My head aches something awful too, anybody have that?

Didn't they give you liquid pain medicine? I took childrens Tylenol liquil or chewables after my liquid pain medicine was gone. Call your Doctor for liquid pain medicine. Hope you start to feel better soon. Kelly

First and foremost - WELCOME HOME LOSER! Second, call call call - get thee liquid pain meds! Rest, sip, walk - repeat often.

Welcome home and congrats! If you can't get a liquid med make sure to crush your pill so you can take it. Happy Healing!

Thanks! I am sure its from not walking enough in the hospital and then the long ride home. With the combo of that and the gagging on the pills......I am hoping the gas pain will be gone by the end of today.........what did you girls have on that one?

If it was a laparoscopic surgery, the gas is probably getting trapped, and the only remedy for that is walk walk & walk, and time.

Yea, that pain really bit me too. Gax-X strips helped me. I know they don't help everyone. I think I took more than I was supposed to. Oops. I took a few pills crushed and with jello. Yucky, but it got down safe and sound. Hang in there. Great support here, eh? Cindy
