I totally hear you doll... my mom and I used to sit and just holds hands and watch TV no words no nothing just the two of us holding hands.... it's my fondest memory of her.  so glad to hear that your back safe and sound and that your family is doing much better.  Blessings to you all Hugs L.

Your post really choked me up, Connie - to share time like that with your grandkids is precious!  Travis is 11 and STILL has to snuggle up, more or less in my lap, for prayers every night.  So to have Nic snuggle up to you at his age is just priceless.  Unconditional love, when no words are needed, is so pure. 

Glad to hear Kyleigh is doing better, too.  Teenage female stuff is unreal - althought the angst and depression make the UP times so much better!  Here's hoping you have way more UP times than not! You and yours will continue to be in my prayers, especially Nic as he goes through his treatment in NY.

Hey sweetie - welcome home.  Glad to see your pretty face on the boards again! It sounds like you've had some amazing moments with all your grandkids - I love your quiet moment with Nic - sometimes just "BEING" with someone is all that is needed.  It's so great that you have that bond with him - he obviously loves you very much to just "sit" with you.  Glad to hear that Kyleigh is doing well too. I bet you're just full of relief now that you've gotten to see, touch and hold each of them.  May God keep that feeling in your heart until you see them again! Love you dear!

Thanks Tracy for the nice welcome back....not sure about the pretty face part...hahahaha!! Yes, spending time and hugging and holding my grandchildren is the best part of my life.....and holding my daughters too. I am so blessed to have such a loving and caring family.   Nic called today just to talk because he was missing me....just hearing his voice tugs at my heartstrings!! I so much want this Cancer monster to go away!! Kyleigh and Amanda called too...they can be so silly....they love there grandma.
