No Koala For Me

I go for a walk every day that takes me past Bucks, so I get a cup and people watch while I sip.  Today I took the train to Wynyard then walked to the Circular Quay.  From there I walked to the Rocks and found a vintage clothing store I'd seen while with hubby.  I spent about two hours in there looking at some pretty cool stuff.  Wish I had money to spend on a 1950's ****tail dress!  I told myself it wouldn't fit anyway so it didn't matter.  Then I walked back to the Quay and got my coffee, then back along the water past the Opera House and into the Royal Botanical Gardens.  I people, boat and bird watched, listened to my iPod and read some of my book.  Before I knew it the day was late, I got on the train after 4pm after walking back to Wynyard, it was already starting to get full with people getting off work.  I always try to be home before the work rush I don't need to be in that madness so I avoid it.  All but a few exceptions close at 4 or 5pm, even the mall closes at 5:30 except Thursday it's open till 9 like everyone else since their sales start that day.  Sun block has become my best friend here, it was 26*C today with full sun.  I hope you all warm it up a bit there by then.  I love being out and being warm!  We went to the Toronga Zoo Sat and paid to have my photo taken with a Koala, there were three in there with me, maybe four.  They all were looking the other way in the photo except one in the way back.  Later we had another opportunity for hubby to take a photo of me with one and he had just changed lenses so the bear is great and I'm a blur.  No time to change lenses.     An elevator is a lift but an escalator is an escalator.

OOOOOO -- vintage 1950's ****tail dress --- would love a picture of that!!!  Lots of walking and interesting spots -- sounds wonderful!!!!  Too bad abot the koala bear photo.   Miss you!!!  Thanks for the update......

"  Curious, why do people watch while you sip?  You must seem very strange to the natives.  I would feel kinda out of place if people watched me whilst I sipped.  But I've never been down under.  It seems to me, however, the last time I ate at Outback, there were people watching me.  Hmmmmm, could be an Aussie thing.  Nice job making us all jealous.  Come home so we can watch you sip.  Please.
