Twilight Zone/LD/Ice Cream

Oh girlie! Good for you for driving away without buying the ice cream!  You need to remember that moment everytime you want to do the very same thing after surgery - I so hate to tell you but it will happen!  The food issues in your head will be the most difficult thing to conquer after surgery, but making the right choice today does a world of good for how you will handle it after surgery. Good luck on your liquid diet LisaJoy!  I've got my fingers, toes and eye crossed that you will be strong every moment of every day of the LD.  Just a little over a week and we'll be able to call you a loser - I can't wait!!! Love you tons!!!

I SO related my surgery to having a baby.  Just all the unexpected stuff, the worry, what will life be like after, etc. .... I didn't have to have a liquid diet so I cannot give you any suggestions there but I can support you.  You are going to do wonderful in this journey.

Your time is coming fast.  I can't wait to hear your first months of posts and those post op pictures!  Just remember to take a pre-op picture infront of a door frame - it was one of the best suggestions I receieved.
