My Happy Day a "Wow" moment

I wanted to share with all of you my happy day. I didn't want to post till I lost 40 pounds after surgery. Well that day is finally here. I'm now down to 166 pounds. Yippee...

I'm down 63 pounds total. 36 more pounds to go. 10 weeks down, the rest of my life to go...........This is such an amazing journey, up's & down's, etc. Everything I've been through the past week is worth it to see the scale go down. An update on my B1, Insurance will cover B1 Thiamine injections, I only have to pay $50 for 25 shots. Whew! I learned something from my pharmisist (sp?) If I were to take B1 by mouth in 100 mg. tablet all's my body would absorb would be 18 mg. So that's why the injectable is important, because it's shot into the muscle and aborbs most of it. AWESOME You are doing great! Keep it up!!! ANd yes, this is for life so install the good habit now ~makes it easier down the road!!! I could just hug you!!! So proud!!!

So happy for you! Great news on the B1 also! Keep up the great work.. The Up's are great the Down's suck but they don't last forever.

Hey Kelly, so glad to hear you are having WOW moments despite how hard the weeks have been after your surgery!!! How's eating go this week? You know, the pharmacists can be a wealth of information can't they? I've learned that recently, too.
