Amy, You will be such a success at this WL journey. I love reading your posts, your good at writting what you feel. Just the other day we were looking at pictures from our vacation last summer, Oh my God, I was splilling out of my bathing suit, yuck. I can't wait for this summer, I will never look like that again. Thanks for sharing with us.

Hey Kel, thank you. I do love writing and used to compete in speech, so I'll take the compliment. I'm excited for you to experience summer this year, and all the years hereafter! You are going to have a blast this summer...just think of all the tanks & shorts you're going to look so good in, but more importantly, you're going to FEEL good! That's what counts. More wise thoughts from our little "diamond" girl.  I just love reaing your posts too.  I came to the same astonishment when I saw myself on a television special and when I came on I didn't even recognize myself.  Then I was sooooo totally disgusted I started dieting AGAIN and research WLS a few months later. You are going to do fantastic and I can't wait to see you have your dreams fulfilled...You are so ready!!!! XXOO

WHAT? We have a TV star among us? DISH!!!

Like everyone else here, I think you are amazing.  Your journey has been such a thorough one, and you haven't even had surgery yet!  You share your learning with everyone here, therefore WE are benefitting from everything you go through, too.   I'm not sure I HAVE any pre-op photos that would do my pre-op body honest justice.  Why?  Because I always made sure I had the camera!  That way, no photos of me.  You posting your swimsuit photo was very brave, and I'm sure very FREEING!  (Was that at the Wilderness, by the way?) Anyway, I just want you to know that I think you are one of the most beautiful women I have ever met.  Inside and out, MO or not.  Hard to imagine you could become even MORE beautiful, but you will!  To those who's eyes were closed to you as you are now, anyway.  The rest of us are already smart enough to see it.   

Aw my dear friend Darla, I always tried to be behind the camera, too, but because I was being brave at the waterpark that day, DH took the opportunity to snap a pic. I usually delete pics of me so I'm really surprised it was still on the computer. (Kalahari BTW) I think at least one full-length preop pic is necessary because it is a visual aide of where you came from. And I'm amazed at the majority of all you peeps here that carry your's with you every day. It's a great reminder and I'm going to do the same, thanks to your examples. See you in the morning.

(OT)  My kidlets want to go to the Kalahari this summer.... give me a shout with your thoughts on the place sometime!  We've only stayed at the Wilderness before...

Amy you are one amazing woman.  You have done so much to educate yourself about, well everything.  I don't think you have left one stone unturned. I could relate to your post, as I'm sure many could.  Thanks for sharing and I think Linda Ann is an amazing woman.  I'm glad you've got her support.
