Cheri, I will soon be posting a reminder about the overnight - but in a nutshell, it's a little "retreat" for us all at the Baker Near Wilderness Settlement! Nothing fancy, but a beautiful place to spend a night! Noon Saturday, March 29th, to noon Sunday, March 30th. Lodging is in rustic cabins, everyone needs to bring their own sleeping bag/bedding.
The lodge will be our main gathering spot, it's a gorgeous log structure with a huge stone fireplace, modern plumbing & a nice, restaurant-type kitchen. (no showers) The cabins are just a few hundred yards away from the lodge, with nice "outhouses" at either end of the row of 8 cabins. NICE outhouses, not stinky, sliver-in-your-butt types.
$25 per person ought to cover the whole deal, lodging and meals. We will also have the services of a naturalist for whatever kind of program we choose - and we'll choose something closer to the end of the month, when we have a better idea of what kind of weather we'll be working with.
