9 month update, I'm still upright and breathing

Well despite life giving me a kick in the pants, I'm still upright and breathing, still married, and still have not gone to the funny farm. We are finally back in the house, but there is a LOT of finish work to be done, and we have no furniture, as in we are sleeping on a mattress and foam on the floor. We got bck in the house 2 months and 4 days after the flood. As far as weightloss goes, well I have slowed WAY DOWN. I did however meet my goal weight I just really need to refocus on lifestyle now. It was so hard to eat right and exercise and do what I needed to do. Just a quick update, still don't have computer at home, and the boss is out today  Pre surgery 267 Current 150 Presurgery 3XL shirts, 22-24w pants Current S or M shirts 8 pants 117 Pounds GONE FOREVER

WOW!  You sure have been thru alot!  AND you met goal!!!!  You should be so proud!  You have done a fab job!  CONGRATS!!!  Hugs!

Thank you so much. You are always such an inpiration for what you cn accomplish after WLS! I am so shocked every time I go shopping, I still see the plus size girl, but then I catch a slimpse in a mirror, and don't even recognize myself!

Throwing that Mary Kay party at the end of the month is one of the best things you can do for me! I am so going to need some away time from my lovely family!! I agree we definately need to get together soon, I am hoping to get to coffee one of these days

I am so glad to hear from you! It sounds like things are turning around for you and your family!  You have been through so much!

Wow - good news, Nicole!  I hope rebuilding your home inside can prove to be more fun than stress, 'cuz Lord knows you've had more than your share!  Congrats on making it through intact!

Nicole, So good to hear from you!  Glad to hear that you're back in your own home now - it will be so much easier for you to refocus when you've got some stability back in your life.
