Newbie Alert

hi everyone.. my name is juliana and i am here in lovely duluth. i am still at the "hoping to be approved" stage and just praying that everything works out. the staff at duluth clinic are amazing and although at times i am scared they always are there to reassure me that everything will be okay. i have first plan through my employer (hi brea *wave*) and so far i have 4 of 6 visits done, my mmpi and after my visit in march and april i will go up for review. i am excited/scared/relieved all rolled into one and i have no idea what the future will bring.. but i do know that it has to be better then this. i am still learning out how to work my way around this site and i hope to get to know you all. take care and have a great night.

Welcome!!  I'm not all that familiar with everyone on here either, but it's a great bunch of people!  So supportive and understanding.  You've definitely come to the right place.  It looks like you're jumping through the hoops just fine and in no time you'll be on the "Losers Bench" as they say around here.  I hope everything works out the way you need it to!!  Good luck with your journey

Welcome Juliana!  This is definitely a great place to be. I have been here for about a month and it is definitely a wonderful  thing. Just ask questions if you have them. Everyone here is always full of great suggestions. I mainly do alot of reading and trying to learn about this amaing process. I am new here as well.  I have really just been reading all fo your posts and getting a lot of good information.  I had my meeting with my surgeon (Dr. Svendsen) yesterday and got my date of April 29th.  I am pretty excited about it!  I am ready to start my new life!
